WHAT IS MS?

MS is a disease that affects our Nervous system (brain spine eyes). Often dubbed a "snowflake" disease, no two people have exactly the same symptoms. Some are affected by heat, some cold, some get vertigo, or spasticity. Some people need ambulatory devices to get around. We all share a common bond that is MS but our disease can be very different.

Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Advocates -message from the founders

SecureACure4MS©is comprised of myself Sharon and my best friend Heather, who are the founders of SecureACure4MS© We are intelligent, well versed women who are very passionate about our organization and finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. Heather and I are so motivated because we have a common thread amongst the pair of us, we both have Multiple Sclerosis. Our vision is to provide our members the ability to have the latest Multiple Sclerosis information, resources, articles at their finger tips. We as Multiple Sclerosis patients need to SecureACure4MS, and knowledge is power. We need to keep the words Multiple Sclerosis in the hearts and minds of all people 365 days a year, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. By maintaining a constant presence IE media, ads, awareness campaigns etc we hope to bring more attention to the plight of the MS community.

SecureACure4MS© has grown into a flourishing non profit org. SecureACure4MS© is incorporating information, resources, articles, fundraisers/charity events, research development weekly radio shows to give our followers the ability to ask questions of experts in different fields,and provide support to the MS patient, family, friends & loved ones. We as members of the MS community offer a insightful perspective of the daily life of the MS patient. We live it, we know it, we understand it. Who better than those who are afflicted with a disease to advocate on our own behalf as well as the 2.1 million people world wide who suffer from MS.

It's imperative for people to understand Multiple Sclerosis isn't a death sentence, however, that does not make it any less important for finding a cure. Multiple Sclerosis stops people from moving!! And we need to keep moving forward to find a cure!
